Jun 8 Calgary's gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gender community celebrate diversity at the Calgary Pride Parade. The parade's route will start at Eighth Street SW and head east along Eighth Avenue SW. Everyone is welcome, enjoy the party.
Jul 4 to 13 A sight not to miss, the Indian Parade takes place downtown during the Stampede, following 1st Street SW along 9th Avenue to Fluor Rope Square (Olympic Plaza). The parade stops at the Westin and the Palliser Hotels. First Nations tribes represented in the parade are: Kainai, Nakoda, Peigan, Siksika, and Tsuu T'ina.
