TBA The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) is proud to present the Annual Summer Media Arts Camp for youth aged 14 to 17. In this two-week, hands-on intensive program, eight young people will have the opportunity to work with professional filmmakers who will coach them through the process of writing, directing, shooting, editing, and premiering their very own independent film.
The CSIF is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local media artists. The Summer Media Arts Camp introduces teens to Calgary's filmmaking community and allows them to experiment with the media arts at a reasonable cost. Many past participants have gone on to pursue careers in film or video, or continue to make films as a hobby.

TBA The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers is proud to present the 17th annual Summer Media Arts Camp. This unique opportunity allows teenagers aged 14 to 17 to write, direct, shoot, and edit a film under the guidance of professional filmmakers.
The small class size allows each participant to get experience working in all aspects of the film production process. The camp will culminate with a public screening of the final film and each participant will receive a DVD of the production for their portfolio. Many past participants have gone on to careers in film and video so this is a great opportunity to explore filmmaking as a career option.
