The Kingston Arts Council announces the Kingston Prize for 2009, a Canadian portrait competition. Canadian artists are invited to submit contemporary portraits of Canadians. The portraits may be either paintings or drawings, and must be made from life within the 24 months preceding the closing date, May 1, 2009.
