A non-profit artist-run center operating 16 studio spaces, a black and white darkroom and regular workshops to facilitate critical discourse and excellence in innovation for emerging and pre-emerging artists. Satellite Gallery showcases monthly peer-juried exhibitions, week-long, non-juried barewalls programming and bi-monthly exhibitions at the EPCOR center +15 hallway. Tues to Sat 11 am – 4 pm. EMMEDIA encourages and supports independent video, audio and digital media production and provides access to broadcast quality video and audio production and post-production facilities. The gallery promotes exploration and expression of personal, artistic, social, formal or technical issues and ideas with active programming and both theoretical and technical workshops and scholarship programs. From its new location on the second level of Art Central, Calgary's oldest artist-run centre is committed to providing a forum for a wide spectrum of critical discourse and multi-disciplinary practices within the contemporary visual arts. Tues to Sat 11 am - 5 pm.
TRUCK is a non-profit, artist-run centre dedicated to the presentation of contemporary art. Their goal is to incite dialogue locally, which contributes to the global critical discourse on contemporary art. TRUCK presents dynamic programming, fosters innovative artistic practices, encourages experimentation, and promotes a dialogue between artists and the public. Free admission. Tues to Fri 11 am – 5 pm, Sat noon – 5 pm.
The gallery is part of the Alberta Printmakers’ Society, a non-profit, artist-run organization founded in 1989 to increase public awareness of printmaking as a contemporary fine arts medium, and to provide a resource for printmaking artists. It exhibits the work of local, national and international artists. Facilities include a studio equipped for relief, etching, silkscreen and lithography. Thurs to Sun 11 am - 3 pm, or by appt.

Joel Sinclair's Studio is a studio and gallery located on the lower level of Art Central building in the heart of downtown Calgary.
Born in Edmonton and educated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Joel Sinclair is a professional watercolour artist whose paintings are recognized for their spirit, intensity of colour and dramatic sense of energy.
