    MacLeod Trail
    MacLeod Trail is a major route located in the city's south. The road begins in Calgary's downtown just south of the Bow River and runs south until it converts into Highway 2A, eventually merging with Alberta’s Highway 2.

    Deerfoot Trail
    Part of Alberta’s Highway 2, Deerfoot Trail is Calgary’s main north-south route running from Country Hills Blvd in the north to its limit near the town of Okotoks in the south. The freeway is approximately 50 km long and has a speed limit of 100 km/h throughout.

    Memorial Drive
    Located on the north side of the Bow River, Memorial Drive is a major route that runs east to west beginning at 68 St. NE and ending near Crowchild Trail NW. The road is lined with more than 3,000 trees that were planted from 1922 to 1928 as a memorial for soldiers who died in the First World War

    Trans-Canada Highway
    The longest national highway in the world, the main route of the Trans-Canada stretches 7604 km (4725 mi) from St. John's, NF, to Victoria, BC. Along the route, it passes through all ten provinces.

    Crowchild Trail
    Named after a Chief of the Tsuu T’ina Nation, this freeway is located in the western quadrant of the city and runs north to south. The road begins from Highway 1A in the northwest and currently ends at Glenmore Trail SW. The posted speed limit varies from 60 km/h to 80 km/h.
