Home to Theatre Calgary, the Max Bell Theatre is a 750-seat, wrap-around theatre. The Max Bell Theatre is one of the five venues within the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts.
The theatre for the Cantos Music Foundation is used as a space for a number of music performances. Special events held here include Music@Noon@Cantos where local workers can eat lunch while enjoying performances. There is also a music gallery featuring over 400 instruments onsite.

A flexible venue for art, music, dance and film – there’s always something going on at the GRAND! Home to Theatre Junction and Velvet Restaurant and Lounge, this theatre is one of Calgary's oldest, having been built in 1912.
Offering 185 theatre-style seats, the Engineered Air Theatre is a venue for play readings, musical performances, seminars, lectures, and banquets. Located on the site of Calgary's original Empress Theatre, the building contains a number of fixtures from the original 1911 building. The permanent home of One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre, the Big Secret Theatre was originally meant as a lounge area. The Pumphouse Theatre building was originally a water pumping station that was built in 1913. In 1968 it was saved from demolition and restored to become the Pumphouse Theatres. Today, the facility is rented out to various local production companies. Inquire locally for shows, times and prices.
Situated in the middle of the University of Calgary, MacEwan Hall is in the heart of campus life with many big name acts to lesser known obscurities performing to students and the public at large. At 25,000 square feet, the upstairs MacEwan Hall Ballroom is small enough for more intimate concerts but large enough for great atmosphere. The newer MacEwan Hall venue is located downstairs from, and is larger than the Ballroom. Both facilities are available for private functions.
Established by the Downstage Performance Society, this intimate venue provides a forum for emerging artists in Calgary. Its priorities lie in ideas, culture, risk taking and community development. In addition to a live theatre, the space doubles as a venue for visual arts.
The Epcor Centre, a six-level complex occupying an entire city block, is a vibrant cultural hot spot. The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium was opened in 1955 to celebrate Alberta's 50th anniversary as a province. The facility, along with its northern counterpart in Edmonton, was then upgraded during the year of Alberta's centennial, 2005. Throughout the year the stage teems with numerous productions of ballet, opera, musical theatre, concerts and more, all taken in from more than 2,700 seats, none of them with a bad view. Lunchbox Theatre was formed in 1975 as a theatre for downtown workers to enjoy on their lunch hour. Performing one act plays that range from the mainstream to the different, Lunchbox hopes to amuse audiences as well as to transport them to a new and different place. Performances are upbeat, the theatre is intimate, and the audience is entertained.
Wyckham House is a student hot spot located in Mount Royal University. This is a bustling area of the university which features a pub, concert venue, dining options and more.
Easterbrook Theatre is where StoryBook Theatre productions are held. The theatre is in the Community Arts Centre on the old Currie Barracks.

The Garry Theatre, originally built in the 1930's as a movie theatre, has been home to a number of theatre companies, including most recently Loose Moose Theatre. It is now home to independent productions and is used extensively during the Calgary Fringe Festival. Located in Inglewood.
Located on the University of Calgary campus, this theatre is home to most of the university's music, dance and drama departments' major productions.
A 'Blackbox Theatre', this University of Calgary theatre is home to student-run lunch shows, and drama and dance department productions.
Home to Stage West, this theatre is also in use by several other Calgary groups, including performances of Shadow Production's CSI Calgary.
