Mount Royal University, founded by Reverend George Kerby, began in 1910 out of a dedication to educate Calgarians. Today, it continues to educate Calgarians as one of the country's finest educational institutions. The university offers a range of certificate, diploma and Bachelor degree programs. The campus features large sculptures, green grounds, fountain and a small lake. The Leacock Theatre and Nickle Theatre are located here.
Rocky Mountain College is a Christian college located in the northwest community of Brentwood. They offer a variety of certificate, diploma and four year degree programs. The college is located close to major bus routes and the Brentwood LRT station.
Located in Calgary's northwest, just minutes from downtown, SAIT is mainly a technical school that also offers a diverse program range that includes professional cooking and professional writing. The Jubilee Auditorium, home to the Calgary Opera is located here. Campus grounds offer an attractive green space with views of the city skyline and Rocky Mountains.
The dynamic University of Calgary Campus spans 213 hectares. Sculptures are spread throughout the campus, as well as sites of interest such as the Nickel Arts Museum, the Rozsa Centre, the Olympic Oval, the Physical Education Complex, the Library and MacKimmie Hall. Guided tours can be arranged.
