One of the more popular public courses in the south end of the city, McKenzie Meadows championship course includes seven lakes and a creek bed. The club also offers group and private instruction from professional C.P.G.A. teachers. Amenities include a pro shop, a driving range and rentals.

Beaver Dam Golf Course is located on the outskirts of Calgary in Madden, 12 miles west of Crossfield. The 18-hole executive course is 6132 yards and features a creek that winds around 13 of the 18 holes making the course a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Amenities include a pro shop, a maintenance shop and rentals.
