Calgary Summer Camps
Heritage Park Historical Village offers a variety of learning programs for kindergarten to adult. The children’s education programs are designed for the school system but the adult educational programs are public. The Park also offers summer day-camp programs for ages seven to 14 that are fun and educational. Camps allow children to learn about Canadian history through hands-on engaging programming.
Camp Amicus offers a unique camp experience for children and youth with learning disabilities and/or AD/HD.
The supportive setting provides opportunities for children to interact with their peers and learn a wide variety of skills including social skills, peer relations and problem-solving with a big emphasis on fun! Day and overnight camps available.
JB Music Therapy Inc. offers Therapy Express day camps for young children with special needs. Music therapy, art and play are combined to enhance communication and social skills.
VonKids summer day camps are a great opportunity for children to get out this summer and spend time in a positive activity oriented environment. Every day, children will play sports and games, as well as engage in fun crafts. Day camps are open to children aged 6-10.
'Around the World Princess Camps’ provide an enormous variety of captivating themes with enchanting story elements, costumes, craft projects and dynamic activities including culture, language and dance classes.
Dalhousie Out of School Care is a licensed, non profit childcare program that offers day camps for kids throughout the summer months, and on school holidays, September through June. Sports, games, crafts, outdoor play and field trips keep children K - 6 entertained and happy.

McKenzie Towne offers fun and dynamic summer activities for children ages 5-12. The week long camps engage children, expand their horizons and most of all, let them be kids!Camps run from the week of July 4 to August 15. Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Additional care is available: Pre-camp care 8am-9am and Post-camp care 4pm-5pm. One exciting out-trip is planned each week!
SAIT Polytechnic offers 35 summer camps for youth heading into grades 4-12. There is something for everyone, including media arts and culinary arts, self exploration and space exploration, welding, TV producing and much, much more. Camps offers free before and after care as well as a bursary program.
Evergreen Theatre presents Science Theatre Day Camps in July 2010! Kids ages 6-12 learn all about theatre and science and come up with their own performance for the end of the week. Two topics: Jungle Boogie (July 5-9 and 19-23) and SuperBirds (July 12-16 and 26-30). 9am-4pm. One week for one child - $198.00, two weeks for same child - $349.00. Scouts Canada's Camp Gardner is a beautiful facility located 20 minutes west of Calgary. Summer camp this summer includes theme weeks, swimming and much more.
The camp will take place at Canyon Meadows Cinemas. Participants will create an original movie which will be seen on the silver screen at the end of camp. They will attend mini classes on acting, filmwork, sound, costume design, script writing, storyboarding, etc. ... The course runs for 5 days (June 5-9 from 9AM to 4PM). The cost is $350.00.
