Calgary Target Shooting

The Shooting Edge is an indoor target shooting facility. They provide all equipment and licenses are not required to fire their weapons. They rent and sell adventure gear, firearms and accessories. They offer the unique opportunity to fire automatic weapons as well. Weapon stocks include AR-15s, AK-47s, Uzis, Blaser sniper rifles, Colt .45s, shotguns, 9mm Glock pistols and much more. Additionally, vintage World War II style weapons can also be sampled. These weapons include the Sterling sub-machinegun and the infamous Thompson sub-machinegun which can be operated by guests, giving folks a real feel for firearms produced in the earlier portion of the 20th century. They're open year round.

Calgary is now home to one of the most modern and technologically advanced target shooting ranges in North America. For the first time in North America shooters can practice their skills on a re-active video screen indoors using live ammunition.
