Welcome to Crossfield!
A quiet town located north of
Calgary and
Airdrie,
Alberta,
Crossfield is a family friendly place offering an abundance of parks
and recreational activities. Crossfield's economy is based on
agriculture and natural gas processing. Many manufacturing companies
producing products such as steel, furniture and oilfield equipment have
also made Crossfield their home. Though it is a small town, Crossfield
offers plenty of enjoyable activities for both visitors and residents.
Playing a round of golf at
Collicutt Siding Golf Course,
fishing, skating, curling, skateboarding or walking through a park are
just some of the fun to be had in this town. Popular annual events
include the
Pete Knight Days named after Peter Charles “Pete” Knight, a famous World Champion Rodeo Bronc Rider. Part of the festivities includes the
Pete Knight Days Parade and the much anticipated
Pete Knight Days Rodeo. The
Crossfield Farmers Market is another not-to-be-missed event as it offers fresh, locally grown and produced products.
