Stampede Park
From spring (April) through fall (October), enjoy horse racing at Stampede Park in Calgary. Thoroughbred horses race until the end of July. Then, for the remainder of the year, harness racing takes over the track.

Race City Motorsport Park Calgary
One of the most modern motorsport facilities in North America. The triple-track complex features a half-mile, high-banked oval for stock car racing, a quarter-mile NHRA drag racing track, and a two-mile roadcourse for sports car and motorcycle racing. Rentals as long as weather permits. Admission varies. 114 Ave and 68 St SE. Follow Deerfoot Tr south, turn left at Barlow Tr, take the first right and drive 1 1/2 miles. Call 272-7223.
